First is to always request an estimate for treatments after the doctor has examined your pet. This will clearly define what medical recommendations have been made for your pet and the costs associated with each recommendation.
The doctor is the only person who will only make medical recommendations for your pet. A nurse or other personnel will go over the treatment plans and the payment options that exist.
